About & contact
I’m Dan and I’m starting out as a freelancer.
I’ve been making websites and learning how to do anything technological since my early teens … and I’ve recently turned 30.
I went on to study Politics & Global Governance at university and attained a first-class honours degree and a departmental award for outstanding achievement.
Next, a career in communications and marketing. I started working at the university where I had studied, Canterbury Christ Church University.
Then, the move to London! I started working at Imperial College London, where I managed their online prospectus and graduation communications.
After a few years at Imperial, I moved on to University College London (UCL). First, I managed the digital communications for the Faculty of Arts & Humanities and the Faculty of Social & Historical Sciences.
Next, I moved to the Centre for Languages & International Education where I am currently the Senior International Communications Officer.
Now I have a decade’s experience in the field, and I’ve just started my freelance business.
I’ve listed the things I can help you and your business with on the services page.
If you’d like to hire me, I’ll be pleased to hear from you. No job is too big or too small. I can help with things like websites, audio-visual work, coding, copywriting and much more.
You can send me an email or a WhatsApp message – or use the QR code on the right to send a WhatsApp message from your phone.
I’ve also written some blog posts and built some tools which I hope save you some money by helping you work out how to do some of this stuff by yourself.
And if you don’t want to hire me, but you’ve found my blog posts and tools useful, donations of any size are grately appreicated and go towards the cost of running this website.
